Program Description

Video is one of the most effective content pieces in a social media strategy. How can your credit union use it effectively? In this presentation Ron Galloway takes a fun and informative look at the innovative use of video as part of an overall marketing strategy. Ron has produced and directed four noted documentaries, so he has a wealth of ideas regarding the appropriate use of visual imagery to drive a sales and social media video strategy.

Meet The Presenter:

Ron Galloway speaks on the effects of new technologies in finance and healthcare. He writes a blog about Walmart and why it does and doesn’t work, as well as a conservative column for the Huffington Post. He is a frequent public speaker who presents on a variety of business topics.

Galloway is the director of four films and the author of four books. His latest film, New Money, explores breakthroughs in payment technology such as Bitcoin and Apple Pay. He directed the business documentary Why Walmart Works, which was the first film to ever premiere in the U.S. Capitol Building, and produced the World War II documentary Oflag 64: A POW Odysse for PBS. His books include Tim Cook Speaks, Rethinking Presentations, and Five Who Matter: Biographies of Civil Rights Leaders for Young Students.

Galloway is a graduate of Georgia Tech and was an investment advisor and analyst for nearly 20 years. In the feat of optimal timing, he retired from investments in 2004.
